Dr. Stacey Graham is the research professor for the Center for Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in history from the University of California, Los Angeles. She was the Center's first fellow in 2003, before studying in Paris, France as a Fulbright Scholar. Her dissertation traces manuscripts of intellectual and theological texts from their origins in late antique Christian North Africa to the monastic centers of medieval Europe.

As research professor, Graham provides research and writing support to exhibits, projects, and National Register nominations, and also teaches courses in the MTSU Department of History. Graham is also the project coordinator for
Teaching with Primary Sources-Middle Tennessee State University, a program of the Library of Congress which promotes educators' use of digital primary sources in the classroom. Her research interests include cemeteries, the Civil War, international historic preservation, and ancient and medieval history.
