Building on needs identified at a workshop at Nashville's Glen Leven during the 2009 National Preservation Conference, this report is the latest step in an ongoing partnership between the Land Trust for Tennessee, the Tennessee Civil War National Heritage Area, and the MTSU Center for Historic Preservation. In the seminar led by Center Director Dr. Carroll Van West, seventeen students researched and assessed the property--including the house, outbuildings, farm landscape, history, and archaeology-- and provided recommendations for preservation and future use.
