Our graduate research assistants (GRAs) have started working on numerous projects as the new semester gets underway at Middle Tennessee State University. Field work, exhibits, publications, community workshops, teacher professional development activities, civic engagement outreach, and National Register nominations will keep the CHP’s GRAs busy during the months ahead. Project sites span the state of Tennessee and extend into Kentucky and Alabama. Tennessee sites include Bruce High School and Orange Mound in West Tennessee, the Moore Farm and the Old Jefferson Trail in Middle Tennessee, and Beth Salem Presbyterian Church and the Lincoln Park and Orchard Knob neighborhoods in East Tennessee, among others. Keep posted on the GRAs’ progress through our CHP Facebook page and our Southern Rambles blog.
