Staff and students have been traveling across the state and beyond to document and assess historic structures and landscapes. Among the places visited recently is the Moore-Williams Farm, a Century Farm in Benton County. The CHP’s new field work coordinator, Ashley Brown, is heading up a team of staff and students to complete a heritage development plan for the property, which is one of Tennessee’s African American Century Farms. Shown here are Leigh Ann Gardner, interpretive specialist for the Tennessee Civil War National Heritage Area, and Grace Allen, a graduate research assistant.
