For Tennessee Statehood Day, Center director Dr. Carroll Van West joined some of our friends at the Tennessee State Museum for a conversation about efforts around the state to preserve and tell the story of Tennessee’s rich and diverse history. Former student and current curator Annabeth Hayes, along with fellow curator Brigette Jones, joined Dr. West in the discussion, which is available to watch here. The conversation took place on the 225th anniversary of Tennessee becoming the sixteenth state in the Union.
