Ashley Brown is the fieldwork coordinator for the Center for Historic Preservation. In her current role, she assists with project administration and coordinates site visits, working closely with graduate students and other staff on architectural surveys, nominations to the National Register of Historic Places, historic structure reports, heritage development plans, and cultural resource surveys.
Brown received her B.A. in history from California University of Pennsylvania and her M.A. in history with a concentration in public history from Middle Tennessee State University. Her research interests include Native American history, the New Deal Era, traditional cultural properties, and cultural landscapes.
