Job Title
Graduate Research Assistant

Max assists with digital projects and works at the Heritage Center. He is also working on the Old Copper Road professional services partnership project. Max has worked on various projects for the Tennessee Civil War National Heritage Area, including assisting with a new traveling exhibit on industrialization and transportation during the war. He did research and fieldwork for the York Bible School history and also worked on the Savery Library at Talladega College project. His research interests are in 19th-century America, archives and corporate archival development, heritage tourism, National Heritage Areas, heritage partnerships and networks, the American South, Reconstruction, industrial history, and digital history.
