Civil War Book Group

The “Between the Lines: Reading about the Civil War” book group will meet at the Heritage Center in Murfreesboro on April 18 and 25 to discuss The Diary of Nannie Haskins Williams: A Southern Woman’s Story of Rebellion and Reconstruction, 1863-1890. The book includes both Civil War and postwar journals kept by Nannie Haskins Williams of Clarksville. The lead editor of the diary, Dr. Minoa Uffelman from Austin Peay State University, will join us for the April 25 meeting.
