Graduate Research Assistant Brandon Owens Presents Carnegie Libraries Research

At Nashville’s annual conference on African American History and Culture in February, PhD student Brandon Owens presented his research on the Carnegie libraries built for African Americans in the city. Owens is currently the Library Assistant for Technical Services at the John Hope and Aurelia E. Franklin Library at Fisk University and¬†recently completed MTSU’s Master of Library Science degree.
