TPS-MTSU: New Programming for Fall

Teaching with Primary Sources-MTSU workshops will look a little different as we start the new school year. To help our teachers who are working through the challenges presented by this new school year, TPS-MTSU will be offering a number of online professional development sessions throughout the fall semester. Programming includes the monthly “Digging In” webinar series and a new webinar series with the Discover Tennessee History collaborative. TPS-MTSU will also be offering sessions exploring key moments in history, which will include discussion of primary sources that connect to state curriculum standards and supporting educational materials that can be used with students. The first of these sessions will be “The Long Civil Rights Movement” and will take place on Tuesday, September 1st, at 4 p.m. (Central).
