Fall 2020 Cemetery Preservation Workshop

This fall’s cemetery preservation workshop will take place on Friday, October 16, at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Clarksville, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Central Time.

Participants will learn basic hands-on techniques for cleaning tombstones, as well as state laws concerning cemeteries and best practices for documentation. If you would like to bring your own supplies, please be sure to consult which ones are appropriate in the Intro Guide to Cemetery Cleaning. We will be practicing social-distancing and, as per MTSU policy, requesting that participants wear face masks.

This workshop is a partnership event with the Mt. Olive Cemetery Historical Preservation Society. Please park behind the Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Cumberland Drive.
