Tanner Rosenwald School Exhibit Panels

We have installed the first exhibit in partnership with the Tanner Rosenwald School in Newport, Tennessee. The story of the school is also the story of Cocke County’s African American community. Graduate research assistant Kate Hughes served as the historian for the exhibit, with assistance from Dr. Carroll Van West and Savannah Grandey.
